Ashley N. Hatzenbihler

Ashley N. Hatzenbihler is an Associate at Robbins Schwartz, where she represents clients in commercial transactions, construction matters, litigation, real estate, public finance and taxation, and intellectual property. Before entering the legal profession, Ashley worked as a mechanical engineer, a background that equips her with a unique problem-solving perspective and a creative, analytical approach to complex legal issues.

Ashley enjoys partnering with clients to translate intricate legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance and to effectively advocate for their needs. Her diverse legal experience has made her a versatile and well-rounded practitioner, and she is committed to amplifying diverse voices both within her work and her community.

Ashley is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Illinois, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, several federal district courts, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She is an active member of the Intellectual Property Lawyers Association of Chicago and the Chicago Bar Association, and she serves in multiple leadership roles within IPLAC, including Co-Chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and Vice Chair of the Copyright Committee. She also serves on the Associate Board of Cinema/Chicago.

Outside of her practice, Ashley enjoys swimming, ceramics, films, and spending time with her dog, Kenny.
