At approximately 5:00 p.m. on February 4, 2022, Judge Grischow issued a 29-page order granting plaintiffs’ motions for a temporary restraining order in both the student and employee cases in which plaintiffs challenged the state’s COVID-19 mitigation measures for schools. We are currently analyzing the order and its impact on both named and non-named parties. We realize that districts will have many questions about the impact of the order. Therefore, we are planning a webinar to discuss the ruling and its impact on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. In the meantime, please contact your Robbins Schwartz attorney regarding any immediate questions or concerns you may have about these cases and the best strategy for your district.
