Webinar Request: Notice Requirements and Best Practices in Addressing Bullying Complaints

Beginning July 1, 2022, school districts, charter schools, and non-public schools were required to have a Professional Code of Conduct Policy in place, which must include a definition of sexual misconduct, identify expectations for employees and agents regarding maintaining professional relationships with students, reference required employee training related to child abuse and educator ethics, and provide that a violation would result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal from employment. On July 1, 2023, a second portion of Faith’s  Law becomes effective, adding many additional requirements related to the hiring process for applicants, employers, and contractors.  Join us as we review the requirements of Faith’s Law.
