Amanda K. Pflaumer

Amanda K. Pflaumer focuses her practice on real estate development, public finance and taxation, and commercial transactions.

Amanda earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Elmhurst University. Prior to becoming an attorney, Amanda worked as a paralegal for three years, where she developed a foundational understanding of the legal system and an appreciation for the collaboration required at all levels of legal work.

Amanda was drawn to the legal profession by the important role the law plays in nearly every facet of society and the opportunity to help clients navigate complex legal issues. She values the opportunity to work with schools, libraries, and other public institutions and to support the important roles they play in their communities. Her background has shaped her commitment to helping clients navigate their unique legal needs and achieve their goals.

Amanda particularly enjoys the collaboration and creativity involved in addressing clients’ unique needs and achieving their desired outcomes. She brings strengths in research and collaboration to her practice and values continuously expanding her legal knowledge, working closely with colleagues, and developing thoughtful solutions to complex legal issues.

Outside the office, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
