Jessica (Jesse) T. Carbonaro
Jessica (Jesse) T. Carbonaro is an Associate at Robbins Schwartz specializing in Student Rights and Special Education. Her dedication to education law is driven by her passion for education and her fascination with the field’s ever-changing, complex landscape. Jesse’s commitment to her clients makes her a compassionate advocate in the field.
Jesse’s journey to becoming a lawyer began with her multidisciplinary educational background, which has significantly shaped her approach to law. Growing up in the western suburbs of Chicago, she developed a strong desire to serve the greater Chicagoland area. Her ability to anticipate potential legal problems and creatively solve them is one of the aspects she enjoys most about her work. Jesse’s love for legal research and writing is reflected in her concise yet thorough work product.
Before joining Robbins Schwartz, Jesse gained valuable experience as a special education attorney in New York and interned with the legal department of Chicago Public Schools. She earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the UIC Law Review and was an active member of Moot Court.
Outside of her professional life, Jesse enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She is an avid reader and has a passion for baking.
