Ryan M. O’Malley

Ryan M. O’Malley is an attorney at Robbins Schwartz, focusing on Commercial Transactions, Construction, Public Finance & Taxation, and Real Estate. He works with clients to navigate legal and financial matters affecting their organizations and is committed to providing thoughtful guidance and solutions that support long-term success.

For Ryan, the most rewarding part of his work is seeing tangible results beyond financial figures. He takes pride in helping clients make informed, strategic decisions that align with their educational and institutional missions. His ability to listen, problem-solve, and provide practical solutions allows him to guide clients through complex legal challenges.

Ryan’s interest in law took shape during his college years in Washington, D.C., where he developed a passion for public service. While in law school, he took courses centered on education and community development, which deepened his commitment to working with schools, colleges, and universities to enhance student programs and strengthen community impact.

Growing up in a region with both highly ranked school districts and private schools, Ryan saw firsthand the disparities in educational opportunities. This experience shaped his dedication to helping school districts improve programs and expand opportunities for students, ensuring that more young people have the resources they need to succeed.

Outside of his legal practice, Ryan is involved with Scoreboard Charities, a non-profit dedicated to furthering cancer research. He enjoys cycling, reading, playing board games, and building Lego sets. A lesser known fact about Ryan is that he is a former varsity collegiate swimmer and he also has an interest in cryptozoology lore.
