Joseph J. Perkoski has devoted his 30-year legal career to representing educational and public sector employers in labor and employment law, as well as public board and executive leadership matters. Known for his expertise in collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, and contract interpretation, he is a trusted counselor who takes pride in helping clients achieve their goals. A first-generation college graduate and lawyer, Joe’s commitment to education law reflects his belief in its essential role in society’s success. His excellence is recognized through honors such as being named a Fellow of The College of Labor & Employment Lawyers, consistently listed in Illinois Super Lawyers since 2008, and recognized as an Illinois Leading Lawyer in Employment, Labor, and School Law. In addition to his legal practice, Joe serves as Managing Partner of Robbins Schwartz, where his leadership has helped the firm grow into Illinois’ largest and most talented education law firm.
